Madi's First Radical Roadtrip

Madi turned two months old while we were in the middle of our "family-palooza" two-week roadtrip in the middle of July. Matt had saved up vacation time at U.P.S. and used his two weeks consecutively so that we could really live it up, see the sites, and introduce Peanut to lots of fabulous family members including Grandma and Grandpa Black in Colorado and Granny and Papa Grubbs (Matt's grandparents) in Kansas.

Outline (Picture Posts To Follow):
* Idaho Springs, Colorado July 16th-20th (Madison's Blessing Sunday, July 17th)
* Lakin, Kansas July 20th-25th
* We stopped back by Grandma's and Grandpa's mission home on our way to Blanding, Utah where we wrapped up the trip, then made it home sweet home to Logan, UT on July 31st (our anniversary).

Luckily the carseat still retains its magical powers and puts Madi right to sleep so the driving was LONG but relatively painless. We had a dynamite system where Matt drove us safely along while I would pump a bottle (powered by the car charger), we'd pull over for gas/potty breaks/Mads guzzling down her fresh milk rather than nursing which takes at least twice as long, and off we'd go!

So let the blogging begin! Catch up time . . .
